Winemaker Colin Campbell and viticulturist Malcolm Campbell are renowned for their crisp whites and mouth filling reds, including the legendary Bobbie Burns Shiraz and the Barkly Durif. They are constantly trialling new varieties suited to Rutherglen and their limited releases of Viognier, Roussanne, Tempranillo and Trebbiano are testament to this. The jewels in their crown are the luscious and rare muscats and topaques which date back to generations past.
Situated in the heart of the winery, Campbell’s cellar door is surrounded by the sights, sounds and aromas that give wine its unique mystery. Stacks of giant and ancient oak barrels provide a real sense of soul and history. Here you can discover a selection of limited releases and rare back vintage wines.

A visit to Campbell’s cellar door is much more than a tasting, it is a unique winery experience. It commences with tasting from fine Riedel glasses accompanied by complimentary cheese and olives and the rare opportunity of selecting from a range of mature ‘back vintage wines’. Visitors are able to explore the cellars and learn about winemaking, participate in a flight tasting to sample specially selected wines matched to regional produce, or book ahead for a private tasting, guided tour or delicious seasonal platter. The lawns are always inviting under the shade of the giant oak trees with a view across the Bobbie Burns Vineyard.
